Nick is a leadership specialist with experience in school improvement through the development of governors, trustees, middle and senior leaders. He is an experienced professional development coach with over 250 successful clients including governors, trustees and headteachers.
Juliet is an experienced trainer who specialises in helping schools to achieve highly effective and confident practice in the classroom. She uses her considerable knowledge of inspection requirements to develop leadership capacity at all levels both nationally and internationally.
Jeff is an experienced and successful school improvement and children’s services professional who has held a diverse range of posts across all phases of education. He has a broad range of skills and specialises in strategic work in school improvement, planning and finance.
Christine Bayliss has extensive experience working as a civil servant for the Department for Education. She specialises in helping schools and free schools groups use academy status to transform the life chances of the children and young people they seek to serve.
Bill works with a variety of schools across all phases providing school improvement support. A talented and experienced leader, he has expertise in headteacher performance management, school improvement reviews, and provides challenge and support to senior leaders.
An Ofsted endorsed outstanding executive school leader, Andy is a director and programmes facilitator with a range of expertise in public and private sector contexts. He is highly effective in supporting schools with their school improvement plans.
Our improvement model
Our improvement model is designed to support schools and trusts in gaining a rigorous, evidence-based view of their performance. Using this evidence base we will work with you to evaluate your capacity and capability to drive improvement, and provide you with the support and services you need to achieve your goals.
Stage 1 - Self-evaluation
Use our Review Toolkit to record a baseline using specialist frameworks.
Stage 2 - Review
Use the results from the self-reviews to determine which type of in-depth Supported Peer Review (SPEER) to undertake.
Stage 3 - Planning
Using the results of your reviews, your Best Practice Network Lead Consultant will help you identify and plan the areas for development within your MAT.
Stage 4 - Improvement
Access Best Practice Network training and services to improve the areas for development highlighted in the planning stage.
